SiteGround vs InMotion Hosting
Quick answer
SiteGround is the better fit for small businesses wanting hosting and email in one place. InMotion Hosting is the better fit for small businesses that want hosting and cPanel email together. They score the same overall, so the choice comes down to fit.
SiteGround
SiteGround is a polished, easy host for WordPress sites: daily backups, free CDN, free email and staging on the mid plan make it a complete package. The catch is the renewal price, which jumps to several times the first-year rate. It suits people who value convenience and support over the lowest long-term cost.
- ✓Free daily backups on every plan, plus on-demand backups from GrowBig
- ✓Free email accounts and CDN included
- ✓Staging on GrowBig and GoGeek, plus Git on GoGeek
- –Renewal prices are much higher than the intro price (StartUp A$4.99 to A$26.99/month)
- –Storage is tight: 10 GB on StartUp, 50 GB on GrowBig
InMotion Hosting
InMotion Hosting gives more for the money than most shared hosts: 100 GB to 300 GB of NVMe storage, free cPanel email accounts, a free domain, and support for Python, Node.js, Ruby and Git on every plan, backed by a 90-day money-back guarantee. The entry Launch plan is limited to two websites, and renewals roughly triple. It suits small businesses and developers who want cPanel flexibility and email in one bill.
- ✓Large NVMe storage: 100 GB on Launch, 200 GB on Power, 300 GB on Pro
- ✓Free cPanel email accounts and a free domain on all plans
- ✓Python, Node.js, Ruby and Git supported on every plan
- –Launch hosts only 2 websites
- –Renewals roughly triple: Launch US$4.79 to US$14.99/month, Pro US$10.59 to US$25.99/month
